Our significant permanent capital base and ability to leverage nearly 200 years of insight and global relationships allow the ACP investment team to be comfortable investing with an indefinite holding period in mind. This long-term commitment allows us to be aligned with management teams and create true partnerships. Additionally, the ACP Funds are able to invest at various stages of a company's development – from high growth companies to more mature buyouts – employing creative equity solutions. As the ACP Funds invest from a permanent base of capital, we have the freedom to determine our investment horizon based on the merits and requirements of the opportunity and the needs of our management partners, without having to take into consideration limitations such as the life of a fund. As a result, ACP can approach each investment with an indefinite time horizon, making ACP an attractive partner to management teams and other shareholders. Additionally, ACP is not restricted to investing in particular capital structures. This allows us to structure our investments creatively in order to provide our partners with innovative solutions to their capital needs.
